New Leaf Hillcrest Growers - Sowing the seeds of recovery.
New Leaf is part of Devon Partnerships Trust’s Vocational Rehabilitation Service. This is a modern service developed from many years of providing therapy, training and supported employment to people living with mental health issues.
Set in a rural setting overlooking Exminster and the Exe Estuary New Leaf offer a variety of opportunities to learn new or revisit old skills, within the different departments. These are Hillcrest Growers - our commercial plant nursery, New Leaf Print - specialising in digital printing and print finishing, Wood Works - manufacturing and training in a commercial environment, New Leaf Café - using food for mood principles and Clothing Works - printing and embroidery onto clothing for both public and private sector.
Workways
WorkWAYS provides information, advice and practical assistance to enable easier access to learning and work. If mental health is an issue in finding or maintaining employment, training, learning opportunities and voluntary work, then WorkWAYS may be able to help.
We are available to people living in Exeter and East Devon and can offer a limited service to those in Mid Devon.
Social Firms Uk
Social Firms UK is the national support organisation for the development of the Social Firm sector in the UK. We carry out lobbying and awareness-raising activities, research and practical initiatives to increase the number and ensure the quality of Social Firms in the UK.
We have approximately 300 members (see an outline of our member services). Information about our activities in 2008 can be found in our 2008 Annual Report.
Foster Leighton
Foster Leighton deliver three core services to our Clients, Risk Management, Insurance Broking and Financial Advice. Our clients include businesses large and small, charities and other voluntary organisations, and private individuals. All our services are individual, tailored to our client’s demands and needs and delivered in accordance with our Mission Statement, in a friendly, responsive, informed and professional manner.

Mindful Employer
MINDFUL EMPLOYER is the work of a voluntary, informal network of employers and support organisations and is open to any employer in the UK, whether small, medium or large, private, public or voluntary sector.
MINDFUL EMPLOYER is facilitated by WorkWAYS which provides information, advice and practical support for people whose mental health affects their ability to find or remain in employment, training, education and voluntary work.
Exeter CVS
Exeter CVS is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee which: -

- * Promotes and supports new initiatives which address areas of social inclusion, economic disadvantage and community development
- * Works in partnership with the public and private sectors in order to help develop a more just and caring society.
We are members of the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA), National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), Volunteering England and Community Matters.

Clothing Works
Clothing Works specialise in bespoke and corporate design, embroidery, printing, marketing and distribution of professional medical and leisure wear.
Clothing Works is one of the businesses which sits under the umbrella of New Leaf, part of Devon Partnership NHS Trust Vocational Rehabilitation Service.
They offer vocational rehabilitation for individuals recovering from mental health issues. It is set in a supportive and realistic working environment and as such, clearly identifies pathways and goals towards recovery.
Devon Partnership NHS Trust
Devon Partnership NHS Trust was established in 2001. We employ around 2,000 staff and also have around 100 staff assigned from Devon County Council and Torbay Unitary Authority, including social workers and support workers. We serve a large geographical area with a population of more than 850,000 people. We work closely with health and social care providers across the county and deliver services for:
- * Adults
- * Older people
- * People with alcohol and substance misuse issues
- * People with a learning disability
- * People with a severe eating disorder who require a stay in hospital
- * People who need forensic or secure mental health services (usually people that have come into contact with the criminal justice system).

RISE
RISE is the voice for South West social enterprise and supports the development of sustainable social enterprises in the region. The Social Enterprise Mark is administered by a joint venture set up between RISE and the Social Enterprise Coalition.
RISE is a membership organisation open to anyone who has an interest in the social enterprise agenda and is based in South West England, offering you a range of discounts to publications and events. For those that provide information, advice and support to social enterprises, RISE provides an enhanced level of membership, called RISE Additions. RISE Additions provides discounts and benefits, including discounted training and free access to the Business Advice Network -- to help learning and information sharing between social enterprise advisors and general business advisors.
